一、全部倒装。
1. here, there, away, down, in, up, off, out, now, then, next, thus 等副词开头的句子里,谓语动词只有一个,主语不是代词。
公车来了。
Here comes the bus.
2. 介词短语作状语放句首。
那张桌子下睡着一只棕色的猫。
Under that table sleeps a brown cat.
3. 表语置于句首表强调。
出席会议的是怀特教授。
Present at the meeting was Professor White.
二、部分倒装。
１. only 位于句首时。（only+主语除外）
只有用这种方法我们才能学好英语。
Only in this way can we learn English well.
2. hardly…when; no sooner… than; never, not, no longer, little, not until, seldom, in no time, nowhere 等否定副词和连词位于句首时。
下雨天我几乎不出门。
Hardly _________________ when it began to rain.
3. so … that; such… that 中so; such 位于句首时。
He is so busy that he can’t attend the concert.
So busy is he that …
4. 副词、形容词、名词、动词、过去分词＋as / though 的让步状语从句中。
Pretty as/though she is, she is not clever.
= (Al)though she is pretty, … .
(Al)though he may try, he will never succeed.
Try as he may, … .
5. 省略if 的虚拟条件句中。
If I were you, I would help him.
Were I you, … .
